One prototype laser game unit was created prior to the non laser game wide release. The game runs on the Phillips 22vp931 laser player which was prone to fail. The laser player was removed from the design and the System 1 cabinet was released. Real animated features of Wile E Coyote and the Road Runner would play in between each level. The animation was displayed via the laser player.
