general description
Daphne has been kidnapped by the evil wizard Mordrok. You play "Dirk the Daring" once again, and must travel through time in an effort to rescue Daphne. You have to find Daphne in the Casket of Doom before Mordrok places the Death Ring on Draphne, or she'll be lost forever!
about this version
This 1991 release builds on the success of the original Dragon's Lair. Released in a dedicated 25" (monitor size) cabinet, this game is also difficult to find in good condition. Don Bluth and laser disc fans both enjoy playing Dirk in this updated sequel.
The game comes with an 8-way joystick, but only 4 directions are used. A oversized "Sword" button is also used. The 1991 release of Space Ace (a conversion kit for Dragon's Lair II) does indeed use all directions.

*NOTE: Dimensional Weight (also know as "Dim Weight") is an industry
standard formula used by shipping companies. The calculation is used
to determine how much space a package will take up. Most shipping rates
are calculated based on Dim Weight or actual weight, whichever is greater.
The formula for Dim Weight is (L" x W" x D")/194. The examples shown here
show the actual dimensional weight for the game, and then given an
estimated shipping dimensional weight assuming that 5" of packing
material is needed in each dimension. Your actual results may vary.
