It is Bugs Bunny's 50th Anniversary! In honor of this event, his fans are sponsoring a birthday party in his honor and Bugs receives an invitation stating that he has been invited to the "Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout." Bugs is elated, but his Looney Toon pals are not! They want to know why Bugs always gets so much attention and they don't. Since the Looney Toons are angry about Bugs getting a birthday party, they are going to do everything in their power to keep Bugs from reaching his party.

The game features 6 stages, with 4 levels in each stage. Each stage has a different theme, much like Super Mario Bros. 3. The first is a "Grass Land" the second is a "Desert Land" the third is a "Volcano-type Land" the fourth is a "Cave Land" the fifth is a "Jungle Land" and finally the sixth stage is much like an "Egyptian Land" or "Tomb". Bugs moves his way carefully through each level and eventually each stage. Some things he faces on the way are soap boxes that shoot deadly bubbles, jumping mallets, crazy frogs, ghosts and fire balls. Bugs uses his trusty mallet to hit the enemy which sometimes gives him a heart. The purpose of the game is to collect carrots which will allow you to play bonus games at the end of each level. After the first three levels of a stage you play a bingo-type game, but after the fourth level of each stage you play a game where you hit the weasel that comes out of the hole with your mallet. Much like that classy arcade game some of you may know of! Not only destroying enemies on your way, you must face bosses at the ends of levels. These enemies are Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird, Peppy Le Pue, and many more! Controls are pretty easy, which makes the game fun, and it isn't too easy, but not too hard either.
