general description

about this version

As you approach the game you notice two bad dudes posing on the screen. Once you place a quarter in the slot you are told by a news reporter that ninja crimes have affected every part of the country and the capital is no safe haven because President Ronnie has been kidnapped. Are you bad enough to rescue him???
The game play is a scrolling screen as you move to the right. Ninjas come out of every place conceivable. They climb up sides of trucks, buildings and fences. They appear out of nowhere in a puff of smoke and even hitch rides on the back of cars..I think he was just on a porche!
The ninjas are easily killed with one punch , kick or jab of a weapon you pick up. The weapons you can pick-up are nice but with only one kick needed to kill a ninja it's really not needed. Also in certain areas you need to pick-up clocks to extend your time. The boss's are not much tougher then the ninjas but do require a few more punches. At the end of each round they guys stop, raise there hands in victory and say "I'm BAD!!"
After several levels you rescue the President AKA Ronnie (named after Ronald Reagan, who was president at the time this game was made)and he invites you to have a hamburger with him.
The game is a great throw back to the games of yesteryear. The graphics are descent but the gameplay is addictive. The quarters will be a flying once the ninja's start attacking as you punch, kick and stab your way through the streets, rooftops and moving vehicles of the city.
