general description
Phoenix was one of Centuri’s more popular games from the classic era. The game is vertical shooting game in which the player must destroy an onslaught of bird-like creatures that attack in multiple stages and formations. In addition to a laser, the player’s ship is equipped with a ship that can be used to deflect enemy fire.
Two sequels were released to Phoenix: Pleads was released in 1981. The second, more obscure sequel, Son of Phoenix was released by another company in 1985 and featured enhanced graphics with the same kind of game play.

*NOTE: Dimensional Weight (also know as "Dim Weight") is an industry
standard formula used by shipping companies. The calculation is used
to determine how much space a package will take up. Most shipping rates
are calculated based on Dim Weight or actual weight, whichever is greater.
The formula for Dim Weight is (L" x W" x D")/194. The examples shown here
show the actual dimensional weight for the game, and then given an
estimated shipping dimensional weight assuming that 5" of packing
material is needed in each dimension. Your actual results may vary.
