general description

about this version

This is the worlds first 3D driving simulation game. The cockpit has a great race car feel. The seat swivels in and locks in place as soon as you turn the key on the dashboard. The driver has a choice of driving on a stunt track or a speed track, this decision is made after the game has begun. As you get to the top of the hill you turn right for stunt or go strait for speed. The speed track is a good way to get used to the car and the force feed back steering but the real fun is in the stunt track. From the first jump you realize that not only do you have to go fast but also be weary of speed limits at stunts....Going to fast over a jump causes a crash and the best part of the game. The aerial view replay!! Every time you misjudge your racing abilities and crash the game lets you revisit your blunder from an aerial vantage point along with explosions on impact.
Once you master the track and get a good lap time you get to pair off with your arch nemisis..Phantom Photon. In the championship lap you must race the purple car without crashing or without going off track for more then 10 seconds. His racing powers are tricky. He can travel through you like a ghost but if you bump him from behind it's like hitting a car in the standard race.
All and all this game is a perfect 10 for retro race gamers. From the sleek racecar exterior, to the force feedback steering wheel this game is the total package.

*NOTE: Dimensional Weight (also know as "Dim Weight") is an industry standard formula used by shipping companies. The calculation is used to determine how much space a package will take up. Most shipping rates are calculated based on Dim Weight or actual weight, whichever is greater. The formula for Dim Weight is (L" x W" x D")/194. The examples shown here show the actual dimensional weight for the game, and then given an estimated shipping dimensional weight assuming that 5" of packing material is needed in each dimension. Your actual results may vary.
